i'm a mama of three + I'm starting a new thing.

After I stopped homeschooling my children, I hit a rut. I knew in my heart that I needed to pursue something that would make my heart sing, and that it had to be related to creating something really beautiful to serve others, but I wanted to do it right. I've invested several years of professional education, experience, and equipment to make this dream a tangible reality. Being a creative mama of 3 very unique children makes this gig a natural one for me since it caters to my strengths: I get to be artistic, silly, patient, and pump out some really lovely pictures for my clients. It is never too late to start something new, and I'm out here sharing that passion with others.

Everybody loves a good story. They are the best way to evoke memories, emotions and even values in people. Visual stories help us to understand each other better. For me, photography is not just about making photographs, it is my response from choosing a life of curiosity, exploration, and wonder. BEAUTY IN THE ORDINARY.

I always had this little fire that lives inside of me to create beautiful things from the ordinary. Whether I was homeschooling my children, designing a home, making a meal for a family with a new baby, or capturing memories through photography, I have discovered the common, golden thread of JOY in the humblest places.

Pure, punchy portraiture.

When it comes to my own work, my style is unique in that I love light and airy photos (so playful!) but I also love them dark and moody (so passionate!) My style is like those two qualities had a baby!

I take the brightness from the light + airy aesthetic and combine it with the dimension of the dark and moody version. And THAT'S my editing style: a happy middle of the two. It's pure, punchy and timeless. It's vibrant and true-to-life with lush hues and clean skin tones.
